Bret Stubbs is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience spanning over three decades in the field of software development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Tidel Engineering since April 2015, Bret specializes in cash management products and embedded programming in C++ on the Windows CE operating system. Prior to this, Bret held multiple senior roles at BancTec from January 1991 to March 2015, including responsibilities in Business Processing Outsourcing and commercial image processing products, in addition to managing a multi-functional team as the Director of Software Engineering. Earlier experience includes positions at Venture Engineering and Recognition Equipment Inc., focusing on firmware development and application software for various products. Bret holds an MBA in Technical Management from The University of Dallas and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of North Texas.
