Dena Pope

Dena Pope has extensive experience in healthcare operations and administration, with a focus on credentialing and patient access. Currently serving as Credentialing Coordinator at Tidelands Health since July 2014, Dena oversees provider credentialing processes for both Tidelands Health and Georgetown Physician Associates LLC. Dena's previous roles include Senior Revenue Cycle Operations Specialist and Project Manager at Georgetown Radiation Therapy Center, where responsibilities encompassed operation management of various systems and projects. Prior to Tidelands Health, Dena worked for Georgetown Hospital System from 1992 to 2014, advancing from Office Supervisor for NextStep Rehab Services to Supervisor of Patient Access Outpatient Services, overseeing multiple clinics and staff. Early career experience includes a secretarial position at Anderson Physical Therapy. Dena is an alumnus of Horry Georgetown Technical College.
