Jeremy Stephens

Jeremy Stephens has a diverse range of work experience in the field of human resources. Jeremy currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Tidelands Health since March 2022. Prior to this role, they held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at the same organization from October 2020 to March 2022. Before joining Tidelands Health, Jeremy held leadership positions at various companies and organizations such as HR Day USA, where they served as the owner since January 2020. Jeremy founded and served as the President of Jeremy Stephens Consulting LLC, bringing their expertise in human resources to clients in the healthcare, state government, and automotive industries. Jeremy also held the role of CEO/President at Michigan HR, a non-profit organization committed to enhancing the competitiveness of Michigan's workforce. Jeremy has a rich background in human resources, with previous positions including Senior Director of Human Resources at the University of Michigan Health System and Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea. Prior to these roles, Jeremy served as the State Personnel Director and Chief Human Resources Officer for the State of Michigan. Jeremy began their career in HR at companies such as Barnes Group, Metaldyne, and Eaton Corporation, where they held various managerial positions.

Jeremy Stephens completed their education at Central Michigan University. Jeremy obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a specialization in Human Resources (HR) in the years 1991 to 1995. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science in Administration (MSA) with a focus on HR from 1996 to 1998.
