Brian Englar

Brian Englar is a Corporate Social Impact Advisor at Tides since July 2021, previously holding the position of Corporate Social Impact Associate. Prior to Tides, Brian Englar worked at GlobalGiving from June 2019 to July 2021 as a Vetting and Grants Management Associate, where responsibilities included designing and implementing vetting and grant programs in collaboration with Fortune 500 companies, as well as managing communications and grants for a corporate partner program that received a 2021 Engage for Good Halo Award. Earlier experience includes a role as a Vetting and Grants Management Fellow at GlobalGiving, where Brian Englar conducted due diligence for numerous charities and implemented international grant programs. Additionally, Brian Englar served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Duke University's Sanford School of Public Policy and completed a summer internship at the Danville Regional Foundation, contributing to community investment planning. Brian Englar holds a Master of Public Policy from Duke University Sanford School of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy with a minor in Global Health from Duke University.
