Laura Hanson

Laura Hanson has a strong and diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Laura currently serves as the Associate Vice President for Corporate Solutions at Tidewater Community College, where they provide leadership in developing corporate partnerships and customized programs for the Division of Workforce Solutions. Prior to this, they worked as a Partner at Hanson Real Estate, LLC. Laura also has experience as a Program Manager at Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia, where they managed complex programs and grants. At Tidewater Community College, they held positions as the Director of the Retail Institute, Project Manager in the Office of the Provost, Program Manager for the Early Childhood Education Scholarship Program, and an Academic Advisor. Additionally, they owned the Law Office of Laura W. Hanson, PLLC, where they provided legal advice in various fields. Laura began their career as the Director of Law Career and Alumni Services at Regent University School of Law, where they counseled students and alumni on career development.

Laura Hanson obtained a Juris Doctor degree from Regent University School of Law, where they studied from 1991 to 1994. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Alabama, studying from 1988 to 1991.
