Austin Howell

Austin Howell has extensive experience in the maritime industry, currently serving as Manager of Special Projects and Manager of Vessel Sales at Tidewater Marine since August 2008, where responsibilities include the worldwide sale of inactive vessels. Previously, Austin held the position of Project Manager for Subsea Technologies, overseeing the acquisition and management of the Tidewater Enabler, a Light Subsea Construction vessel. Additionally, as Assistant Manager of New Construction, Austin contributed to construction specifications and contract reviews while supervising shipyard activities in five countries. Prior to Tidewater Marine, Austin worked as Port Captain at Norton Lilly International, providing logistics services and supervision for various shipping sectors across the Americas and the Caribbean. Educational background includes a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Tulane University and a degree in Marine Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
