Derrick Brown

Derrick Brown has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Derrick started their career in 2001 at Electronic Data Systems, where they held various roles, including Client Delivery Executive, Director and Chief Strategist, and Director of US Field Services. At Weyerhaeuser, they worked as the Director of IT Supplier Management and Director of IT Planning Office. Derrick then moved on to Safeco as the Director of IT Service Management. Later, at Xerox, Derrick served as a Strategic Business Unit Executive, where they successfully managed client satisfaction, P&L, and achieved cost reductions. Currently, they are with Tideworks Technology, serving as the Director of Information Technology Strategy, overseeing IT strategy, brand reputation, and marketing plan. Prior to this role, they were the Director of IT Governance and Director of IT User Support Services at Tideworks Technology, where they streamlined processes, oversaw resource allocation, and improved end-user computing and IT procurement. Overall, Derrick has extensive experience in IT strategy, governance, user support services, and client management.

Derrick Brown attended the University of Idaho from 1991 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Political Science. Prior to that, they attended Idaho State University from 1989 to 1991, where they studied Theater, English, and Political Science.
