Omar N.

Omar N. has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and risk management. Omar currently holds the role of Principal Cybersecurity Engineer at Tideworks Technology, starting in December 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Risk and Compliance professional at Nestlé from May 2020 to December 2022. Before Nestlé, Omar served as the Lead Security Officer at Saint-Gobain from May 2019 to April 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Totalplay as the Gerente de seguridad de información from June 2018 to May 2019, where they implemented security controls and applications, such as ENS, AV, and vulnerability scanners. Earlier in their career, Omar held the position of Supervisor de seguridad en tecnologías de información at Telcel from June 2012 to June 2018, where they implemented security standards, conducted audits, and implemented security rules for databases.

Omar N. has a strong educational background in technology and finance. In 2001, they graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, and Communications Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica de México. Omar then pursued further studies and obtained a specialization in Systems, Networks, and LAN/WAN Communications Administration in 2007 from the same institution.
