Patricia Acosta

Patricia Acosta is an experienced professional in entrepreneurship and business development, currently serving as the Sponsor & Partners Engagement Manager at TiE Silicon Valley since August 2021. Prior to this role, Patricia held the position of Encargada de Articulación del Emprendimiento at the Ministerio de Industria y Comercio from June 2013 to August 2021. Patricia also led teams at Startup Weekend Santo Domingo between 2013 and 2016 and served as Executive Director at Enlaces, Inc. from May 2013 to July 2014. Patricia's early career at TiE Silicon Valley included roles as Manager of Programs & Membership and Finance Administrator from March 2005 to February 2013. A graduate of Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña, Patricia earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a focus on Marketing.
