Karthik Bhat

Karthik Bhat is an engineering leader and entrepreneur with extensive experience in security, identity, and privacy products. They co-founded and served as CEO of SecureDB Inc, where they led innovations in encryption services from 2014 to 2016. From 2016 to 2019, Karthik was the VP of Platforms and Ecosystem at Virtru, where they contributed to the development of key data protection technologies. Currently, Karthik holds the position of Director of Engineering for Identity Security at Okta, leading efforts to integrate AI and machine learning into cloud security solutions while also managing the Devices team. They are actively involved as Track Manager for Security and Privacy at TiECon since 2020.
