Samyak Baid is a co-founder of Pawsible Foods, focusing on fermentation to innovate protein solutions for the planet since August 2022. In September 2023, Samyak became a co-organizer for the Alternative Protein Project at the National University of Singapore (NUS), leading efforts in collaboration with the Good Food Institute. Additionally, Samyak serves as a teaching assistant for the Engineering course EG2301 - Value Creation in Innovation at NUS from August 2023 to May 2024. Samyak is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Innovation Engineering at NUS, having graduated with a high school diploma from Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Sr. Sec. School in June 2021.
