Agustín Chávez

Agustín Chávez is a Software Engineer currently working with the Risk & AntiFraud team at NuvemPago, a fintech branch of Tiendanube, since April 2024. Previously, Agustín spent over five years at Despegar, where contributions included the development of a Customer Engagement tool using React and participation in backend tasks, such as creating a new In-App communication channel. Agustín's experience encompasses roles of increasing responsibility from Software Developer Intern to Software Engineer, engaging in cross-functional team projects and automating communication tools across various platforms. Educational qualifications include a CS50X Introduction to Computer Science from Harvard Online, a degree in Programación y Bases de Datos from Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Web Development from freeCodeCamp, and the MongoDB Node.js Developer Path from MongoDB University.
