Daisuke Hoshina

Corporate Officer, Product Development and Management at Tier IV

Daisuke Hoshina has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Daisuke currently holds the position of Corporate Officer, Product Development and Management at TIER IV, where they started in October 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Product Owner of Autonomous Driving System in the Engineering Division at TIER IV starting in May 2020. Daisuke also worked as a Project Manager for MaaS and OEM Projects in the Engineering Division at TIER IV from September 2019 to April 2020.

Before joining TIER IV, Daisuke worked at Nissan Motor Corporation as the Deputy General Manager of Project Management in the Connected Car and Services Engineering Division from April 2019 to August 2019.

Daisuke also has experience in the automotive industry from their time at Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi. Daisuke served as the Deputy General Manager and Head of Project Management in the Connected Vehicles and Mobility Services division from April 2018 to March 2019. Prior to this, they held the role of Manager and Head of Project Management in the same division from October 2017 to March 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Manager in Services Management in the Connected Vehicles and Mobility Services division from March 2017 to September 2017.

Daisuke has also worked at Toshiba Corporation and Toshiba Europe GmbH. At Toshiba Corporation, they held the position of Group Manager in Cloud Service Planning and Development from August 2014 to February 2017. At Toshiba Europe GmbH, they worked as an Assistant to the Executive Vice President from January 2013 to July 2014, and as an Assistant to the General Manager from February 2010 to December 2012.

Daisuke'searlier career includes a role as a Business Alliance Manager at Toshiba Corporation from June 2008 to January 2010. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior System Engineer at Toshiba Corporation from April 2001 to July 2006.

Daisuke Hoshina pursued their education in a systematic manner, focusing on gaining knowledge and expertise in various fields. Daisuke attended Kyoto University from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. After that, they enrolled at The University of Tokyo and completed a Master's degree in Computer Science from 1999 to 2001. Seeking further business knowledge, Daisuke joined the Texas McCombs School of Business from 2006 to 2008, where they successfully achieved an MBA degree with a specialization in Business.
