Masaya Kataoka

Masaya Kataoka began their work experience in 2017 as an intern at Mitsubishi Heavy Industry. Later that year, they worked as a part-time software engineer at Emb³. In 2018, they joined Nissan Motor Corporation as an R&D employee before moving on to TIER IV, where they currently hold the position of Software Engineer. At TIER IV, they are involved in developing open source autonomous driving software and creating a simulator for autonomous driving.

Masaya Kataoka earned their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Osaka University from 2012 to 2016. Masaya then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Robotics at Osaka University Graduate School from 2016 to 2018.
