Fiona Martin has a long and varied career in the hospitality industry. Fiona began their career in 1992 as Sales & Operations Manager at Simply Travel Ltd. In 2001, they moved to Turavion as Sales & Marketing Manager North America, Oceania & UK. In 2007, they joined Tierra Hotels as Sales & Marketing Director, where they were responsible for the global marketing plan and sales strategy, including the launch of Tierra Atacama in 2008 and Tierra Patagonia in 2011, as well as the rebranding of Tierra Chiloé (formerly Refugia) following its purchase in 2014. During this time, they were instrumental in positioning Tierra Hotels in local, regional, and international markets.
Fiona Martin attended the University of Sussex from 1982 to 1986, where they earned a BA Hons in French. Fiona then went on to study at the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management from 2014 to 2015, where they obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Marketing Strategy.
