Edgars Bremze

Edgars Bremze has extensive experience in banking and technology solutions for banks. Edgars has held various roles throughout their career, including Lead Product Manager at Tietoevry since January 2021, where they have worked on multiple central bank projects for the implementation of instant payment solutions, open banking strategies, and CBDC initiatives. Prior to this, they served as a Product Manager at Tieto from October 2014 to August 2021. Edgars also worked at GE Capital Latvia as Head of Information Systems from September 2013 to May 2014, and as Head of Projects and Process Improvement from January 2010 to September 2013. Additionally, they were Deputy Leader of the Strategic Projects department at GE Money Bank Latvia from 2009 to 2010. Edgars began their career at GE Money Bank as PMO Leader from August 2007 to January 2009, and later as Vice President responsible for the IT function from November 2005 to August 2007. Prior to joining GE Money Bank, they worked as an IT Project Manager at Baltic Trust Bank from May 2002 to November 2005.

Edgars Bremze completed their primary education at 28. vsk from 1981 to 1990. Edgars then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University), graduating in 2000.
