Eirik Eggen

Eirik Eggen, PMP has over 25 years of work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Eirik started their career as a Tester and Software Developer at Boole & Babbage in 1994, where they worked until 1997. From 1998 to 1999, Eirik worked as a Software Developer at Forsvarets Tele- og Datatjeneste. Eirik then joined Accenture in 1999 and spent over 13 years there, serving as a Manager and specializing in agile ways of working. Eirik also held various roles such as Technical Architect, Test Manager, Team Lead, and Software Developer, primarily in the Communications industry. In 2012, they joined Tieto as a Lead Project Manager and was responsible for managing large public transport engagements in Finland. Eirik led the delivery of turn-key solutions and also headed the development of Tieto's Intelligent Transport System unit's offerings. In 2018, Eirik worked as a Senior Manager at EY before joining Tietoevry in 2019, where they currently serve as a Lead Project Manager.

Eirik Eggen, PMP, holds a Cand. Scient degree in Computer Science from the University of Oslo, which they obtained from 1992 to 1998. Additionally, they are certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute since May 2014. Eirik also plans to obtain the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in 2023.
