Farnaz Abroon

Farnaz Abroon has over 20 years of work experience in various project management and leadership roles. Farnaz currently works at TietoEVRY as the Head of CIO Customer Experience. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of CIO PMO and Operational Excellence at Tieto. Before joining Tieto, Farnaz worked at Nokia for several years, where they served as the Nokia Mode of Operation and Transformation Senior Manager, overseeing projects related to executive governance, project management methodology, and the development of the Nokia operating model. Farnaz also acted as the program manager for SAP system changes and rebranding programs. Farnaz started their career at Rayaneh Doostan Tehran Co. as a Network Engineer and later worked as an IT Project Manager at Asr-e-Danesh Afzar Co. Overall, Farnaz has a strong background in project management, change management, and operational excellence.

Farnaz Abroon obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications Engineering from K. N. Toosi University of Technology in the years 1989 to 1995. Farnaz then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business/Commerce, General at Sharif University of Technology from 2005 to 2007. In 2018 to 2019, Farnaz earned a Certificate in Digital Strategy from Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development. Farnaz also completed two Innovation modules and obtained certificates from Stanford University. Farnaz has additional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) obtained in March 2010 from the Project Management Institute, and various other certifications related to innovation and service excellence.
