Senior Vice President Financial Crime Prevention at Tietoevry

Gunnar Koren has extensive work experience in the financial services industry. Gunnar started their career in 1998 as a Controller, Project Manager, and CFO at Norway Registers Development, where they focused on implementing e-government solutions and registers. In 2002, they served on the Board of Directors for UAB NRD. From 2004 to 2006, Gunnar worked as a Project Manager and International Business Development Manager at Emric, where they implemented finance systems and developed banking and finance credit rating systems. Gunnar then worked as a Consultant at GK-Consult in 2006. In 2007, Gunnar joined EVRY as a Vice President and later transitioned to become a Vice President of Financial Services at TietoEVRY in 2007. Most recently, they held the role of Senior Vice President Financial Crime Prevention at TietoEVRY. Additionally, Gunnar worked as a CTA at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization from 2008 to 2012.

Gunnar Koren received their Master's degree in International Business and Political Science from Griffith University in 1998. Before that, they earned their Cand. Mag. degree in Law, Economics, and Political Science from the University of Oslo between 1991 and 1996. In 2019, Gunnar attended INSEAD, focusing on Leading Strategic Change and strategy execution. Gunnar also studied Artificial Intelligence and its implications for business strategy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2017. Additionally, Gunnar completed an Advanced - Meta Certified program in Communication at the Scandinavian Institute for Communication and Change. Gunnar also attended Dale Carnegie Training in 2018 to enhance their leadership skills.
