Mikael Salonaho

Mikael Salonaho has extensive work experience in risk management, security, and compliance. Mikael is currently serving as the Head of Corporate Risk Management and Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Tietoevry since July 2021. Prior to that, they held similar roles at Tieto from 2012 to 2020. Mikael also worked at Nordea, where they held various positions, including Manager of IT Risk Management and Compliance, Manager of IT Security and Risk Management, Vice President of IT-Security, and Development Manager of IT-Security. Mikael started their professional career as an IT Security Specialist at Postipankki and then worked as a System Analyst at Åbo Akademi.

Mikael Salonaho obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Åbo Akademi University. Mikael also attended Kotka Svenska Samskola from 1977 to 1986, but no degree information is available for this period. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from ISC2 in 1998.
