Sven Östlund

Sven Östlund serves as the Market Lead for Switzerland and Western Austria at Tietoevry since May 2021, focusing on creating purposeful technology aimed at positive global impact. Östlund also holds a leadership position as Line Manager, promoting a vision of a brighter future through collaboration. With a background in the Swedish Armed Forces since June 1999, Östlund has developed expertise in various engineering capacities. Previous roles include Account Director at ISS Schweiz AG and extensive experience at Siemens, where responsibilities ranged from Head of Vertical Markets to Sales and Market Manager for Data Centers. Additionally, Östlund was a management consultant at ThyssenKrupp and held positions at EFG European Furniture Group AB and Volvo Construction Equipment. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Computer Science from ETH Zürich and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping University, alongside leadership training at WIFI Steiermark.
