Andrew Dahlinghaus is the Chief Operating Officer at TIFIN, where he brings 25 years of legal, regulatory, and operational leadership across highly regulated, technology-driven sectors. He oversees the operating systems, governance frameworks, and execution disciplines that support TIFIN’s multi-product AI platform.

Andrew began his career at Arent Fox in Washington, D.C., advising life sciences companies on regulatory matters, government investigations, and M&A. He later joined Covidien (acquired by Medtronic), where he led the commercial legal function for its largest business unit and directed legal strategy across key strategic acquisitions including Barrx Medical, superDimension, and Given Imaging.

Following his tenure at Medtronic, Andrew played senior roles within private-equity portfolio companies during periods of transformation. His work included guiding the listing of Convatec Group plc on the London Stock Exchange and building corporate governance, data protection, and internal audit functions for global technology businesses. Throughout his career, he has managed legal and operational teams across China, India, the E.U., Singapore, Colombia, Switzerland, Israel, and the U.K.

As General Counsel at multiple organizations, Andrew has overseen complex litigation resulting in multimillion-dollar settlements, negotiated resolutions with government enforcement agencies, and built enterprise-wide data protection and risk management platforms. He has also served as a senior advisor on products incorporating machine learning and most recently directed a data-driven product initiative supporting pharmaceutical commercialization strategies.

Andrew earned his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School.
