Jeanette Leusen

Jeanette Leusen is a prominent immunologist currently serving as a professor at Jeanette Leusen's lab at UMC Utrecht since September 2023. With extensive experience, Jeanette has held key positions as a senior advisor and scientific founder at TigaTx, as well as the Chief Scientific Officer and scientific founder since September 2018. Additionally, Jeanette leads the Biologics workstream at Oncode Accelerator since June 2022 and has been the principal investigator at Global Health - UMCU since January 2005, heading the Immunotherapy lab focusing on Fc receptors and antibody therapy. Jeanette's academic journey includes roles as an assistant professor and postdoctoral fellow at Universitair Medisch Centrum Utrecht, and a postdoctoral researcher at UMC Utrecht's Dept. of Cell Biology, alongside a PhD from the University of Amsterdam in Immunology/Cell Biology and an MSc from Leiden University in Medical Biology. Early research entailed studies on human neutrophil NADPH oxidase and autoantigens related to Wegener's disease.
