Lisa Rand is an experienced educator currently serving as a Spanish and French Teacher at Tigard-Tualatin School District since August 2004, where Lisa also fulfills the role of Key Club Advisor. Prior to this, Lisa held various positions in the corporate sector, including Executive Assistant in Real Estate at Kroger, where responsibilities involved supporting property acquisition and store development, and Major Federal Accounts Manager at GST Telecom, focusing on telecom solutions for the Department of Defense. Lisa's earlier work includes roles as a cook and assistant cook at Pasta Works and Café des Amis, respectively, and as a swim instructor and lifeguard at the City of Portland Parks & Recreation. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Oregon and a Master's degree in Education from Portland State University.

Tigard-Tualatin School District (TTSD) serves part of the suburban Portland metropolitan area including the cities of Tigard, Tualatin, Durham, and King City, as well as the unincorporated communities of Metzger and Bull Mountain. TTSD provides programming from Pre-school to 12th grade with an emphasis on student achievement, equity, talent, and climate and culture. All K-12 students experience personalized digital learning with a focus on critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity, as well as opportunities to experience, college, career, and technical classes, preparing them for success after high school. TTSD hires and retains staff who are catalysts for learning and who nurture a school community where everyone feels safe, valued, and connected.
