Sue Rieke-Smith

Susan Rieke Smith has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as Superintendent for both the Tigard Tualatin School District and Springfield Public Schools in Oregon since July 2018 and July 2014, respectively. Prior positions include Interim Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent of Instruction at Springfield Public Schools, as well as Director of Instructional Services and Principal at Salem Keizer Public Schools from 2007 to June 2014. Susan Rieke Smith holds an Ed.D. in Education and Policy Leadership from the University of Oregon, a MA in Teaching from George Fox University, and a BS in Nursing from Pacific Lutheran University.
