Thabani Msomi

Thabani Msomi has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Thabani most recently held the position of Customer Director at Tiger Brands, starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Customer Director Strategy, Capability and eCommerce at Tiger Brands from May 2022 to May 2023.

Before joining Tiger Brands, Thabani served as the Managing Director at Energizer Holdings, where they were responsible for the South African organization and had full P&L responsibility from June 2018 to May 2022.

Thabani'searlier experience includes roles at Unilever, where they worked as a Customer Director from July 2016 to June 2018. Thabani also served as a National Accounts Manager for Pick n Pay Foods Lead from January 2016 to June 2016, and as a National Account Manager for Pick n Pay Personal Care Lead from December 2013 to December 2015.

Thabani's extensive experience in the consumer goods industry also includes roles at Procter & Gamble. Thabani held various positions such as Customer Director- Pick n Pay from September 2011 to November 2013, National Key Account Executive - Clicks from August 2010 to October 2011, Category & Channel Development Manager from May 2007 to July 2010, and Key Accounts Manager from January 2004 to April 2007.

Thabani Msomi completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Economics & Taxation from the University of KwaZulu-Natal from 2000 to 2003. Thabani also completed their Matriculation from Pinetown Boys High from 1994 to 1998.
