James Forbes

James Forbes has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. James co-founded the Tiger Fiber Hemp Company in 2017. Prior to that, they were the co-founder and CEO of Good Life Growing, LLC, where they focused on urban farming and sustainable growing mechanisms. James also served as an Associate Partner at Bell's & Associates, Inc., a Missouri General Insurance Agency Affiliate, from 2015 to 2019, where they worked as an independent insurance broker. Before that, they were a CLCS Account Executive at Missouri General Insurance Agency, Bell's and Associates Unit, from 2012 to 2015. James also held the position of VP of Sales and Marketing at Aqua Botanical, where they contributed to spreading awareness about aquaponics. James briefly worked as a Business Development Manager at GadellNet in 2012, and as a Program Project Coordinator at The Human Development Corporation from 2009 to 2011. Overall, James' work experience is varied, including roles in entrepreneurship, insurance, agriculture, sales, and marketing.

James Forbes attended the University of Missouri-Columbia from 2003 to 2008, where they obtained a degree in HRM (Hospitality Management, Business). In addition to their degree, they also obtained the certification of Commerical Lines Coverage Specialist in February 2013. Later, in October 2022, they became a NHA Silver Member, affiliated with the National Hemp Association.
