Layne Kirshon

Layne Kirshon, Ph.D., currently serves as an Analyst at Tiger Global Management since January 2022. Prior experience includes positions as a Systematic Macro Quant Researcher at Citadel (2020-2021), Options Market Maker at Akuna Capital (2019), and an Investment Associate focused on systematic global macro strategies at Bridgewater Associates during the Ph.D. program (2017-2018). Layne also contributed as a Research Assistant at the National Bureau of Economic Research (2014-2015), specializing in behavioral finance under David Laibson. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics from Northwestern University.
