Craig Bednar served as the President of Tiger Oak Media from June 1992 onwards. Craig was responsible for overseeing the publication of 30 regional titles and managing the company's digital media, events, custom publications, and ancillary products. Additionally, they held the position of Adjunct Faculty at the University of St. Thomas from January 2001 to March 2007, where they co-taught a class on strategy implementation in the Executive MBA program. Craig'srole involved teaching students how to create and implement strategies, define success, evaluate internal culture, and determine measurement tools for financial and operational objectives. Prior to this, Bednar worked as a Senior Analyst at Cowles Media from 1987 to 1991. In this role, they reviewed and assessed magazine, newspaper, and event acquisition candidates, created annual budgets, and delivered presentations to senior management.
Craig Bednar obtained their Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Minnesota between 1981 and 1985. During the same period, they also completed a BBA in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from the same institution. Later, from 1985 to 1986, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing & Finance at the University of Notre Dame.
