Pooriya Aghaalitari has over 17 years of professional work experience. From 2003 to 2005, they worked as a Desktop Support at Secure Data Networks. From 2005 to 2008, they were a System Administrator at Emirates Aero. At Keross LLC, they were a Network Consultant from 2008 to 2010. From 2010 to 2017, they were a Solutions Architect at Barez Industrial Group. Since 2017, they have been working at Long View Systems BC, first as a Senior Systems Consultant (Tier3) and then as a Senior Solutions Architect - Customer Success. In this role, they have been responsible for administration and support of networking and platform in virtualization, Windows, Linux, storage, and backup. Pooriya has also been assessing clients’ requirements in terms of network services, applications and security, and planning, designing, and implementing services for clients’ projects. In 2019, they moved to Tigera as a Solution Architect - Customer Success.

Pooriya Aghaalitari has a comprehensive educational background. From 2015 to 2017, they obtained a Master's Degree in Science in Internetworking from the University of Alberta. From 2009 to 2014, they obtained a Master's Degree in Science in Networking and System Administration with a focus on Information Security from the Rochester Institute of Technology. From 2005 to 2008, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Science in Network Infrastructure Design and Administration from the American University in Dubai.
