Yong Tan

Yong Tan has a strong and diverse background in software engineering. Yong began their career in 2006 as a Software Engineer at the National Infrastructure Software Engineering Research Center. After two years, they moved on to Sun Microsystems (Oracle) where they served as a Sr. Software Engineer for three years. In 2011, Yong became a Technical Lead at Weaver Mobile, Inc. before joining Microsoft as an SDE II in 2012. Yong then worked at a search engine company as a Senior Software Developer for two years. Currently, Yong is a Staff Software Engineer at TigerGraph, a position they have held since 2016.

Yong Tan holds a Master's degree in Computer Applications from the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Science and Technology of China.
