Maarten Derks

Maarten Derks is a seasoned professional in the finance and technology sectors, currently serving as a Partner at TIN Capital, overseeing Dutch Security TechFund IV and European Cyber TechFund V since February 2007. With prior experience as a Partner at Independent Capital Partners bv, where Maarten was involved in M&A advisory, and as General Manager at Zappwerk bv, Maarten has demonstrated significant expertise in dealmaking and management. As the Founder of both IC Group B.V. and Park Venture Fund I bv, Maarten contributed to the establishment of successful ventures, including IC Group, which was recognized as a leading software consultancy firm before its acquisition by Software AG. Maarten began the professional journey with various management positions at Shell Group N. V. and holds a Master’s degree in law, corporate, and tax from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
