Lucas Hunter

Lucas Hunter is a finance professional with extensive experience in private credit and alternative investments. Presently associated with Tikehau Capital since 2023, Lucas specializes in primary and secondary direct lending, as well as opportunistic and structured credit. As the Founding and Managing Partner at Marco Polo Global Investments since 2022, Lucas focuses on providing global investors with access to emerging markets private debt and private equity strategies. Previous roles include positions at Alcentra in private credit from 2020 to 2022 and at Butler Industries, where Lucas worked in alternative investments from 2014 to 2020, covering real estate, credit, and venture capital/private equity. Earlier in the career, Lucas gained experience as an analyst at Accenture from July 2012 to July 2014, focusing on fintech, banking, and automotive sectors. Lucas holds an MSc in Management from ESSEC Business School and a BSc in Economics & Politics from the University of Bristol.
