Duc Trung Mai

Duc Trung Mai is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in optimizing application performance and enhancing user experience. Currently at TikTok since February 2024, Duc specializes in cross-platform technologies to improve the search functionality within the app. Previous roles include software engineering positions at the STEAM for Vietnam Foundation and DBS Bank, where responsibilities ranged from developing products in Auto Speech Recognition (ASR) to managing teams. Duc's background also includes research and development roles at Nanyang Technological University and Temasek Lab, focusing on live streaming audio applications and audio/video search capabilities. Early career experiences encompass programming roles in various technologies including PHP, .NET, and iOS development, along with support teaching at Lenguyet English Center.
