Haonan Chen

Haonan Chen is a Senior Research Engineer at TikTok since December 2019, specializing in music generation using language models, music editing agent systems, and music-related features for in-house applications such as TikTok, Douyin, Jianying, and Capcut. Prior experience includes a research internship at Bytedance from May to August 2019, and another research internship at Megvii Inc. from September 2016 to June 2017. Haonan Chen holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2017-2019) and a Bachelor's degree in Automation from Tsinghua University (2013-2017).
