James Wang currently serves as the Head of US Tech and Product PMO at TikTok, a position held since October 2022. Prior to this role, James worked at Google from June 2019 to October 2022 as a Manager in Google Cloud Networking. From July 2012 to June 2019, James was the Executive Director at Futurewei Technologies, Inc. (Huawei US R&D), where responsibilities included managing the development of database machine products and cloud computing tools, as well as collaborating with industry standards organizations. James began the career as a Software Engineering Manager at Cisco from August 2005 to July 2012, focusing on high-performance SaaS services and cloud-based storage management systems. James holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Peking University and an M.S. in Computer Engineering from UC Irvine.
