James Wang

James Wang currently serves as the Head of US Tech and Product PMO at TikTok, a role held since October 2022. Prior to this position, James worked at Google as a Manager from June 2019 to October 2022. Additionally, James was the Executive Director at Futurewei Technologies, Inc. (Huawei US R&D) from July 2012 to June 2019, focusing on developing high-performance database machine products and cloud computing performance tools. Earlier in James's career, from August 2005 to July 2012, roles included Software Engineering Manager at Cisco Systems, where responsibilities included developing SaaS services and cloud-on-premise systems. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Peking University and a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from UC Irvine.
