Shouzi Chew assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer in May 2021. Chew has also acted as the Chief Financial Officer for Parent Company ByteDance since March 2021. Prior to ByteDance and TikTok, Chew was Partner, Director and President of International at Xiaomi Technology.
