Wesley Shi

Wesley Shi is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and mobile development. Currently serving as a Tech Lead Manager and Staff Software Engineer at TikTok since July 2020, Wesley has played a key role in the user retention team, focusing on user cohort targeting and dynamic feature delivery. Prior to TikTok, Wesley was a Senior Software Engineer at Uber and held various engineering positions at Cloudflare and Neumob, where significant contributions included leading mobile SDK development. Wesley also co-founded Pulse Labs Inc., focusing on workplace communication apps. Early career experience includes software engineering roles at Apteligent and an internship at LinkedIn. Wesley earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a focus on Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science from Duke University.
