Yolanda Yu

Yolanda Yu is an accomplished product designer with extensive experience in creating innovative technology solutions. Currently serving as a Product Designer at TikTok, Yolanda focuses on Global Community Product creation. Prior to TikTok, Yolanda was the Founding Product Designer at Playhouse AR, developing an AI-powered social app that rapidly attracted over 100,000 users within its first year. Yolanda also worked as a UX Designer at DeFiner Labs, enhancing the user experience in decentralized finance, and as a Product Designer at Flash, where indoor AR navigation and EV charging experiences were significantly improved. Earlier design work included launching children’s games at BrainCo Inc. Yolanda holds a Master of Science in Information Sciences from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from UC Irvine.
