Nikhil Desai has a diverse work experience spanning over several positions and industries. Nikhil began their career at Procter & Gamble in 1997, where they worked as a Unit Manager for over a decade. In 2008, Nikhil joined Masafi as a Category Marketing Manager, and later took on the role of Trade Marketing Manager. In 2013, they joined Shana Foods and served as a Business Development Manager, responsible for managing and developing independent trade and strategic relationships with top UK multiples. Nikhil was later promoted to the position of Head of Sales before leaving in 2017. Currently, Nikhil is working at Tilda, where they started as a Senior National Account Manager. Nikhil then progressed to become the National Account Controller and is currently serving as the Head of National Accounts in the Wholesale, Distribution, and Cash & Carry sector.
Nikhil Desai completed an MBA in Marketing at the University of Lincoln from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accountancy and Economics from Delhi University, which they completed from 1994 to 1997. In addition, Nikhil has obtained certifications in Competition Compliance Training from the British Brands Group and is a GAP Certified Professional Negotiator from The Gap Partnership, although specific dates for these certifications are not provided.
