Kevin Nguyen

Kevin Nguyen has worked in the software engineering and development field since 2015. In 2015, they were an intern at Teledyne SeaBotix, Inc. where they inspected the sound quality of motors to be used in ocean navigating drones and performed QA/QC and organized documentation. In 2016, they worked as an intern at Avaulte where they created a wire frame for the foundation of an application that aimed to sell art, designed and curated graphics for brand establishment using Photoshop, and collected contact information to be used for outreach across multiple industries. In 2017, they worked as a Developer and Student Manager at the University of California, Davis where they developed forms utilizing ServiceNow, JavaScript, and database operations via GlideRecord for UC Davis employees' use, and development work done on UC Davis' Service Portal page applying HTML, CSS, and AngularJS. In 2019, they worked as a Software and Media Intern at Nexus Dx, Inc. where they set up a database on a remote server to manage onsite medical devices, troubleshot and wrote scripts to fix issues on medical devices, and documented the device's high- and low-level software written in C/C++. Currently, they are a Full Stack Engineer, Jr. Full Stack Engineer, and Software Engineer Intern at Tiled.

Kevin Nguyen attended the University of California, Davis from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Art Studio.
