Maria Gryn has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Maria started their career as a Team Lead at Pet Food Express in 2000 and worked there until 2005. In 2006, they interned as a QA Food Safety Intern at Custom Food Products. Maria then worked as a Quality Engineer at E. & J. Gallo Winery from 2007 to 2007. Maria joined American Bucking Bull, Inc. in 2008 as a Membership Manager for a year. From 2009 to 2012, they held the role of Quality Engineer and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt at E. & J. Gallo Winery. In 2014, they became a Production Engineer and then a Quality Manager from 2015 to 2017 at the same company. Maria later worked at Hilmar Cheese Company, Inc. as a Quality Manager from 2017 to 2019, and then as a Corporate Quality Improvement Manager from 2019 to 2020. Currently, they are a Plant Quality Manager at Tillamook County Creamery Association since 2019.

Maria Gryn has a diverse education history. Maria began their educational journey at Las Positas College from 2000 to 2003, where they focused on the field of psychology. Maria then transferred to the University of California, Davis, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science & Management from 2003 to 2004. Maria continued their studies at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from 2004 to 2006. In 2016, they obtained the certification of Certified Quality Engineer from the institution ASQ.
