Sergei Gapanovich

Sergei Gapanovich has had a varied work experience since 2007. Sergei began their career as a Radio Personality at Radio Brest and Russian Radio from 2007-2010. In 2014, they became an Office Manager at MJ Watch Service. In 2018, they became a Quality Assurance Intern at IT Expert System, Inc., where they learned best QA practices in software testing classes, was recognized as a team lead on the final project, and helped the QA team with writing test plans, test cases, and bug reports. In 2019, they joined Club Automation as a Software Engineer in Test and Associate Software Test Engineer, where they were the automation project owner and contributed to API and UI automation, increasing coverage by 40%. Sergei also created and managed scheduled automation jobs in Jenkins and Gitlab for staging environments daily and set up GitLab runners to work with Rancher environments during regression. In 2021, they joined SUSE as a Software QA Engineer. Currently, they are a Quality Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer in Test at Tilled.

Sergei Gapanovich obtained an Associate's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Belarusian State University between 2010 and 2012. Since then, they have obtained several certifications, including a Certified Kubernetes Administrator from the Cloud Native Computing Foundation in February 2022, Kubernetes Fundamentals (LFS258) from The Linux Foundation in December 2021, Introduction to Kubernetes from edX in November 2021, Learning Docker from LinkedIn in May 2021, Master the OWASP Top 10 from LinkedIn in December 2020, Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) from the American Software Testing Qualifications Board in February 2019, and CS50: CS50's Introduction to Computer Science from HarvardX - An Online Learning Initiative by Harvard University through edX in January 2019.
