Amit Dhawan 阿米特

Amit Dhawan has a diverse and extensive work experience in the fashion industry. Amit most recently served as the Director of Sourcing at Tilley, a Canadian hat company known for its travel clothing. Prior to that, Amit was the Director of Sourcing and Orient head at NYGÅRD International, where they played a key role in the company's expansion and oversaw various brands and distribution facilities. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as Vice President of Sourcing at APPAREL SOLUTIONS NYC and Country Manager China at SKD Pacific Limited. Amit also gained valuable experience as the Country Manager China at PEARL GLOBAL INDUSTRIES LTD, a multinational apparel manufacturing conglomerate. Amit began their career as a Senior Production Executive at Shahi Exports Pvt Ltd. Amit's work experience showcases their expertise in sourcing, production, and management within the fashion industry.

Amit Dhawan has a diverse education background. Amit enrolled in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to study Pricing but did not complete a degree in that field. Later, they attended the National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi, specializing in Garment Manufacturing Technology without obtaining a degree. Amit then pursued an Associate's degree in Organizational Behavior Management at Hong Kong Metropolitan University. In 2006, Amit completed a Diploma in Chinese Language and Literature at Changzhou Institute of Technology. Further education includes a Post Graduate degree from the National Institute of Management, with specializations in textile management, fashion management, international marketing, and operational management. Amit also obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Sales & Marketing from Annamalai University.

For their Bachelor's degree, Amit attended Delhi University where they studied Business/Commerce, General from 1995 to 1998. Prior to this, they completed their high school education at Delhi Public School Noida. Currently, Amit is pursuing a Certified SCMP (Supply Chain Management Professional) from Supply Chain Canada, specializing in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management, which will be completed in 2023. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in "Pricing: Using Data to Improve Pricing Performance" from MIT Sloan School of Management and is a candidate for the "SCMP (Supply Chain Management Professional) pre-designation" from Supply Chain Canada.
