Paul O'Neill

Paul O'Neill has a strong background in software development, with experience in various roles and industries. Paul is currently the Co-founder & Chief Technology Officer at Tillit, a position they have held since September 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Kaluza from September 2019 to August 2020.

Before entering the startup world, Paul held positions at Baillie Gifford as a Lead Analyst, where they were responsible for developing an in-house web-based financial services CRM and marketing platform. Paul worked there from November 2013 to May 2019. Paul also worked as a Software Developer at miiCard, an identity management startup, from June 2012 to November 2013.

Prior to their startup experience, Paul worked at Scott Logic Limited as a Senior Software Developer from May 2010 to May 2012. Paul was involved in various projects for fund management clients and had a client-facing role. Additionally, they worked at Lab901 Limited as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2008 to May 2010, where they were involved in developing analysis products for LIMS integration.

Paul began their career as a Tutor at the University of Edinburgh while pursuing their education.

Paul O'Neill completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of Edinburgh from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, they attended Liverpool College from 1995 to 2002, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned. Additionally, they obtained the Neo4j Certified Professional certification from Neo4j in July 2019.
