David Gardner

David Gardner is an advisor at Tilt 365 and the founder and managing partner of Cofounders Capital. David has over seven years of experience in the startup accelerator space, focused on B2B software ventures in North Carolina. In partnership with the Town of Cary, David has funded lab space for entrepreneurs to receive expert help in modeling and vetting their startup ideas, prototyping and garnering beta customers and investors. The most promising of these ventures may also receive funding through Cofounders Capital's $31M second seed fund or other grants and loans associated with the program. The Cary Cofounders Lab and Fund is supported by five staff members and over one hundred accomplished advisers and volunteer mentors who are all investors in the fund, eager to support entrepreneurship in NC and to help our portfolio companies succeed.

In addition to their work with Cofounders Capital, David has also been an investor and board member for biospatial, Inc., Element451, Automation Intellect, CareNexis, IMPATHIQ, and Myxx Inc. David has over three years of experience as an investor and adviser, providing valuable guidance and support to startups in a variety of industries. David is passionate about helping startups succeed and is committed to supporting entrepreneurship in North Carolina.

David Gardner has a Bachelor's degree from Bluefield College in Philosophy from 1982-1985. David has a Masters of Information Science from North Carolina State University from 1987-1990. David also has a Masters in Divinity with languages from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary from 1985-1988, but they left before graduating to attend NCSU.
