Amy Louise Herndon has over 20 years of work experience. Amy Louise began their career in 1995 as a Public Safety Officer at Seattle University, where they were responsible for supervising up to two full-time officers and up to 6 part-time student officers, as well as handling incident investigation and reporting. In 2001, they moved to the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture, where they served as an Operations Coordinator, Grants Management Database Administrator, and Contracts Coordinator. In 2015, they became a Prototyping Engineer (AKA Swiss Army Knife) at castAR, and in 2018 they moved to Tilt Five, where they currently serve as a Prototype Engineering Manager (Swiss Army Knife).

Amy Louise Herndon completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Virginia Commonwealth University in 1994, majoring in Sculpture, Film and Photography. Amy Louise then went on to pursue a Master of Public Administration degree at Seattle University, which they completed in 2001, with a focus on Arts Administration.
