Nilson MacHado Resende

Nilson Machado Resende is an experienced professional in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as Executive Manager at TIM Brasil since December 2004. Resende leads the Transport Network Backbone Operations Group, overseeing Level 3 support and service creation for various network types, including IP, OTN, satellite, and fiber optical networks. Prior roles at TIM include Head of Fixed & Transport Network Planning, responsible for comprehensive transport network planning and budget management. Resende's career started at Telemar Norte Leste, where leadership in the Transport Network Satellite Group was demonstrated, including responsibility for the Amazonas Satellite Project. Nilson holds an Engineer's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from PUC Minas.
