Jan Rothen is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in software development and digital transformation. Currently, Jan is involved in capacity management and railway topology for SBB CFF FFS, utilizing technologies such as Java, ArcGIS Pro, PostgreSQL, and OpenShift in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment. Prior to this, Jan contributed to the modernization of the Swiss Federal Customs Administration at FOCBS and served as a Full Stack Engineer at Netstyle.ch GmbH, focusing on a health insurance application. Earlier career roles include software engineering positions at Swiss Post Solutions, MAF International, and self-employment developing CloudGorilla. Jan holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from the University of Bern.
