Ian Uriarte

Ian Uriarte is the founder and CEO of Timbergrove. Ian has over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including stints as a project manager, software development manager, and field engineer.

Ian started their career in 1995 as a field engineer with Baker Hughes. Ian then spent four years as a project manager with National Oilwell Varco before joining Altra Energy Technologies in 2000. At Altra, Ian was responsible for leading the software development team. In 2006, they co-founded Ecclesia, a startup that provided enterprise software to the oil and gas industry. Ian served as COO of Ecclesia until 2008, when they joined Accelerated Process Systems.

At Accelerated Process Systems, Ian was responsible for leading the electrical engineering team. In 2009, they left to start Timbergrove, which provides software solutions to the oil and gas industry.

Ian Uriarte has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Louisiana State University. Ian also has a Masters in Engineering from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
